I was born and raised in New Jersey. In 1988, after 12 years of owning and operating B & C Landscaping, Inc., my wife Carolyn, our three children, and I packed up and moved to Asheville. I got my real estate license in 1989 and went to work with a local company. In January of 1998 Carolyn and I opened New Horizons Realty in Mars Hill, which is in Madison County.  I believe my real estate career began by the leading of the Lord. He's still leading and I'm still following!!

I was born in Philadelphia and raised in New Jersey. At age 6, I enjoyed living in Seaside Park--only four houses from the bay and two blocks from the ocean until, in 1961, when the bay met the ocean and it was necessary to evacuate. After the storm we moved inland to Toms River. I attended Ocean County College and Taylor Business Institute in NJ; Mars Hill College, and Cumbies' School of Real Estate in NC. Bill's bio tells of our past several adventuresome years from business/life in NJ to business/life in NC with our three children. I enjoy working with such a wonderful, caring, considerate team of superfine, most excellent, real estate agents! Bill does get on our nerves from time to time but we just ignore him.

I'm a native of Buncombe County, and have spent my life hunting, fishing, and hiking the mountains of Western North Carolina. My wife and I live in Mars Hill.  Our oldest daughter is a graduate of UNC-Asheville and teaches kindergarten at Evergreen Charter School. Our youngest daughter is a graduate from Mars Hill College and is in her third year of teaching third grade at Candler Elementary School. She was married on August 1, 2008.  We have two grandaughters. The only ones left at home are our Westie and Scottie, Rascal and Bayleigh. I specialize in large tracks of land and subdivisions. I am a native of Madison County and except for a brief time spent in Washington, DC, I have lived here all of my years. A sense of "place" is very important, and my wife and I decided that our children should also be a part of this place. Madison County and the surrounding area is very unique. You can't drive far without encountering the past, whether it's the rugged mountains, the French Broad River, the old store or church, the courthouse, the college, or the old farm. The culture is alive and thankfully, there are those who learned and are passing on the songs, music, stories, and the ways of the people who settled this place. There are lots of folks who have moved here and have embraced this place as their own. I look forward to helping you, too!

I am a native of Asheville, North Carolina. I attended the University of North Carolina at Asheville and have a Bachelor of Arts degree in economics and sociology. I worked for 30 years in sales and marketing for Pfizer Pharmaceuticals and Warner Lambert Companies. I have lived and traveled across the U.S. from NC to VA/MD/GA/ CA and back to NC. Through my travels I have bought and sold many homes and properties across the country and I enjoy helping people shop for and buy homes and land. I currently reside in Wolf Laurel Resort, Mars Hill, NC. Wolf Laurel Resort is a wonderful casual mountain resort offering beautiful long range mountain views up to 5,400 feet elevation. I grew up in the small town of St. Matthews, Kentucky outside of Louisville and graduated from the University of Louisville. West Palm Beach was home for over twenty five years and my three children grew up there. I visit my grandkids in Jupiter whenever time allows. My Florida real estate license has been with One World Properties on Singer Island since 1998 and I enjoy working with Floridians and snowbirds from the north who, like me, love both the beach and the mountains.

Madison County reminded me so much of the beautiful Kentucky countryside of my childhood that I decided to make the permanent move here in 2001 to help manage Hot Springs Spa. After retiring from the Spa in 2004 I began to serve as mediator for the courts and schools in Madison and Yancey counties working for the non-profit Mediation & Restorative Justice Center out of Boone. As a widow who remembers the sixties I enjoy my Carolina friends who have found their bliss in this magical part of WNC playing music, dancing, and making things happen while they write that novel or create pottery or fabric art and grow gardens and new friendships.
